Office
Dr. Edda Ballensiefen’s dermatologist’s office is located at the heart of Berlin in a medical center (“Ärztehaus”) on Schloßstraße 93 in Steglitz. The office can be easily reached by public transport. The bright and spacious rooms are completely air-conditioned and come with modern dermatological treatment options. A separate operating room is available for outpatient surgical procedures.

Dr. med. Edda Ballensiefen
Dr. med. Edda Ballensiefen is a specialist in dermatology and venereology. She completed her studies in human medicine at the renowned Semmelweis University in Budapest and at the UKE University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf. During her studies, she gained international experience through stays at San Diego State University (SDSU) and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Ballensiefen passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step 2 CK). Her passion for dermatology dates back to an internship during her studies and continues to drive her everyday work as a specialist in dermatology.

Dr. med. Anna Leidenberger-Karalus
Dr. med. Anna Leidenberger-Karalus studied human medicine at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Technical University of Munich. She was already enthusiastic about the field of dermatology during her studies. She completed her doctorate in the field of dermato-oncology on white skin cancer at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). Her doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr. Karsten Neuber forstered her particular enthusiasm for the subject of dermatology. For more than 15 years now, Dr. Leidenberger-Karalus treats her patients and their illnesses with a lot of commitment and joy. In our dermatology practice in Berlin-Steglitz, Dr. Leidenberger-Karalus has been working as a specialist in dermatology and venereology since May 2024
